God is good. I am only sourcing the furniture namely, the pews and crucifix before blessing and dedication of the edifice. Continue to storm heavens with your prayers.

On behalf of all of us the St. Gabriel's Balaclava,

I am Fr. Mushi.
Matthew 5:14-16
You are light for the world. A city built on a hill-top cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp to put it under a tub; they put it on the lamp-stand where it shines for everyone in the house. In the same way your light must shine in people's sight, so that, seeing your good works, they may give praise to your Father in heaven.

<![CDATA[2014 Mission Recap]]>Sat, 23 Aug 2014 04:21:05 GMThttp://stgjamaicainfo.weebly.com/latest-happenings/2014-mission-recapGreetings!

New information about our 2014 trip this past July is now on the Jamaica website! There is a nice reflection on our trip by Staci Streich, recounting many of the activities we participated in, on the home page. Sandra Scheuler has provided a great introduction and history of the Hand-in-Hand Service Scholarship under the Service Scholarship tab. There is also a roster of the 5 student pioneers to the scholarship under the same tab.

We hope you enjoy reading about the latest happenings between us and our sister parish.

A former priest from Balaclava, Fr. Francis, once told us that the material things we bring them will eventually fall apart, but the relationships and memories we form will last a lifetime. Those are far greater than any material gifts we can offer. So thank you for continuing to help us grow this lasting relationship.
